Crepe day, part deux
Howdy Y'all. This weekend has been pretty nice thus far. Ben is practicing at the moment and I am in between household chores.
I thought I'd tell you about the awesome brunch we had this morning. It all started yesterday when I was at the Farmers' Market and I saw one vendor selling locally grown strawberries. They looked SO good! Small, nice color, in cute baskets... I even tasted one and it kicked butt compared to the regular California-grown variety! I purchased a basket because Ben makes awesome crepes. So we did just that this morning - made strawberry crepes with banana, yogurt and granola. SO GOOD! We also made a strawberry syrup which was killer.

In addition to eating awesome food, we began packing up some of our belongings for the Boulder move. We packed up 9 legal-size boxes full of books and CDs! We are contemplating either sending them FedEx ground (for around $12/box) OR having the movers take them. Not sure which is the least expensive option. We had a mover come by our place this week for an estimate - so it finally feels like we are making some progress. Ben leaves for Boulder on Wednesday on an apartment-finding mission. Wish him luck! He has a week - which should be ample time. He's taking the camera with him, so if you are lucky (ha), I might just post some pictures of our potential home.

It sounds like I've got a job lined up, thanks to my amazing current boss, Les. He has a buddy in Boulder who was a college roommate. He works for a law firm that was looking for a new receptionist & legal assistant. I have had a couple interviews and the Office Manager will be calling tomorrow to confirm all the details. I guess it's not set in stone yet, but it seems to be promising.
That is all for now. Hope you have had a great weekend!
Ciao,
amy
